My Obstacle When Changing School

A long time ago during my elementary school days, I was told by my father that I’d be moving schools, At first, I was skeptical, but then I saw the school’s brochure, that encouraged me to change schools, but then I regretted it because I missed my old school.
After changing schools and meeting my new classmates, I became very shy, and couldn’t even admit it to myself. When I had no choice but to talk to others, I would always talk fast and even leave my tasks to the last day.
Later on during the 6th grade, when I made some progress into talking to my classmates I met classmates who made fun of the fact that I couldn’t pronounce the letter “r” properly, and they enjoyed bothering me a lot. I didn’t like them and lost my temper sometimes.
This continued on for a few years, until I controlled my temper, and they matured a bit. Some of them even apologized and we became friends from foes; it made it a little easier to communicate with my classmates, most of them at least.
In conclusion, I still didn’t like some of my classmates; however, I am able to communicate with them sometimes, but even though I’m still shy, I have learned to be more mature about it and talk a little more with effort.
